All things Macro with MarcosRodriguez? Ok!

This journal is the continuum of the one called "Why I love macrophotography"

How can I talk about all things macro without interviewing the current (awesome and talented) Macro Photography CV,MarcosRodriguez? Take a look.

• Could you first briefly introduce yourself ?

My name is Marcos (I think that is quite clear ), I come from Spain and I'm 37 years old. I've been in dA for 8 years now and currently I am the Community Volunteer for the Macro Photography Gallery.

•  What do you like so much about macrophotography ?

• In your opinion, what are the qualities that a macrophotographer should have ?

A Macro Photographer must be patient, sometimes you have to wait for that spider to turn around to show you it's face; also must have a sniper pulse, to avoid moving that piece of grass that holds a unique drop. But the most important thing is your eyes, you must train your eyes to be able to find those tiny details in the everyday objects.

• You call yourself « a drop lover », what do you love so much about macro droplets ?

I love the perfect roundness of the drops, and the sense of fragility and uniqueness they transmit.

• What inspires you for your photographs ?

My passion for photography, I think that's the thing that inspires me the most. When I don't shoot after some days I miss it very much.

I'm very critique with myself, I always find things that could have been done better, but probably this one is my favorite one:

I only changed the white balance to give it a cooler tone, but they are almost the colors I saw though the viewfinder.

• If you could master another form of art, what would it be?

Drawing (traditional and digital) and other kinds of photography such Street and Landscapes.

• If you could name a couple of artists that you find inspiring, who would it be?

Tough!! There are so many great Macro Photographers in dA ( and outside of course )... melvynyeo, Sheila-M-Carlo, ColinHuttonPhoto, AlexGornikiewicz,... I know I'm forgetting too many...

• And last but not least, if you had an advice for anyone who is willing to start macrophotography or already does it, what would it be ?

Try hard, never surrender, any kind of photography can be frustrating at the beginning, but the secret is to keep shooting, the worst photo is the one you didn't take and be patient and respectful with Nature.
