Rules - please read carefully
Take a macro photograph of one or several objects (like a toothbrush, a keychain...) or of a part of the human body (an eye, finger....). Leave a comment on this journal with your entry for the contest. It has to be a macro photograph and not a closeup, which means that the magnification ratio has to be of 1:1 (an image in which the subject is depicted on the digital sensor (or film plane) in its actual size). If you're unsure, please read THIS article about macro photography before submitting anything. Waterdrop/Collisions macros are not accepted. Macros of animals/insects are not accepted. Your photograph has to be at least 1280 pixels wide (It is the “Display options” / “Size: 1280 pixels wide” or “Size: 1600 pixels wide” widget when you submit your photograph, underneath the “Contains Mature Content?”). Please avoid using obstructive watermarks. Use the hashtag #macroarmy. Mention in the comment section that your deviation is for the "Let's think outside of the box" contest, with the link to this journal. You can submit up to 2 deviations maximum for the contest. Your photograph(s) has/have to be new and done specifically for this contest.Think textures, lines, curves, abstract, lighting, surprise us, get creative, impress us!!
